This is Fatima.
She lives in Akete, Ghana, where her family farms Casava. Three days before this picture was taken she couldn’t ride. Now she can finish the course and not hit the photographer in her way. She came to L2R every night for a month, and once she learned to ride, she brought her little sisters and taught them too. When asked why she was practicing, she told us she wants to win the race her teacher has set up for the end of the class. You go girl!
